L-744,832 Dihydrochloride is a Ras Farnesyltransferase inhibitor that has been demonstrated to induce tumor regression. L-744,832 Dihydrochloride induces p21 expression and arrests cells at G1. It also causes enhanced mitotic sensitivity to taxol. Additionally, L-744,832 has been found to inhibit activation of p70 S6 kinase.
